Moulding: Disamatic Line

Disa 2110 MK2 Disamatic Vertical Moulding Line, with mould size of 500 X 400 mm. The Mould Thickness is variable from 150 mm to 300 mm.

• Maximum molten metal /mould = 20 Kgs.
  
• Maximum casting weight = 15 Kgs.
  
• Maximum area of casting + gating system = 120000 sq.mm.
  
• Production Rate = 240 Moulds/ Hr.

New KOYO High Pressure Moulding line (commissioning in Sept 2007)

• SM60V Flaskless moulding line with mould size of 500x620x300mm
• Mould speed of 340 moulds/hr for non cored items.

Melting:

• Inductotherm Make 1500 Kw / 2 MT medium frequency-Dual Track Coreless Furnace = 2 Crucibles, Melt Rate = 3 MT / hr, New furnace of 1MT and melting rate is 1.3MT/hr
  
• Charging trolley with weighing scale, Storage Bunkers for Metallic Raw Material.
  
• Treatment - Sandwitch, Overhead electronic Weighing Balance with remote display for metal measurement
  
• Over head EOT Crane with electromagnet for metallic material handling.

Sand Plant

• Blender to blend bentonite & Coal Dust prior to mixing
  
• BMD intensive Mixer TM-160 of 1 MT capacity suitable for DISA Line with capacity of 15 MT/hr and one standby mixer.
  
• Fluidized bed sand Cooler of capacity of 20 T / Hour.

Core Shop

• Two Station (One Vertical, One Horizontal) Cold Box Core making Machine.
  
• Vertical Parted Shell Core Shooters 3 Nos.

Fettling And Shot Blasting

• Suitable equipment for grinding, fettling.
• Hanger Type DISA make shot blasting machine(Capacity: 50 Tons per day.)
  
• Pangbon make tumbler type Shot Blasting machine.
• Wedge Breaker-for Runner Riser Separation.

Pattern Making and Methoding

• We have a tie-up with two pattern manufacturing suppliers on contractual basis. These companies have each ten station for CAD designing using software like AUTO CAD, PRO E, CATIA, SOLID WORKS etc.
• TFL has capabilities of developing 3D models from 2D drawing in a short span of time.
